Site Accessibility Options - The Okra House Vegetarian Café in Halifax, West Yorkshire.
We have made every attempt to make our site accessible to all users and have included a number of functions to enable people to use our site. We have implemented an easy to use, logical tab order for those who require use of a keyboard to navigate this site and have also included a number of accesskeys to enable quick navigation within pages and across the site.

Due to the lack of Accesskey standards we have attempted to give letters to the Accesskeys that are in keeping with most major sites that have been designed with usability and accessibility in mind. Depending on what operating system and browser you are using will depend on what key combination you have to press in order to use Accesskeys. Below is a list of common key combinations for popular operating systems and browsers.
Operating System
- PC/Windows - Press and hold the Alt key plus the Accesskey letter/number
- Mac - Press and hold the Ctrl key plus the Accesskey letter/number
Browsers
- Internet Explorer - Press and hold the Alt key plus the Accesskey letter/number. To access links, the Enter or Carriage Return key must be pressed after the Accesskey combination.
- Firefox - Press and hold the Alt and Shift keys plus the Accesskey letter/number. Links are directly accessed using the Accesskey combination.
